If you are an Android platform user and do not have the ability to connect to your AR.Drone's adhoc network, please see THIS post.
Below is a video I recorded that demonstrates the ease in which AR.Pro can patch a Parrot AR.Drone to support Infrastructure Wi-Fi networks. The video steps you through both patch installation, and uninstallation. It assumes that you have adhoc capabilities on your Android phone. Even if you don't there is value in watching the video as it does cover the configuration settings you'll need to make once you've connected to your Drone for the first time. AR.Assist (linked above) is the tool you should use for performing a one time infrastructure connection if you are unable to connect via adhoc to your drone already.
ADVISORY: IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU BE ON FIRMWARE 1.4.7 OR 1.5.1 PRIOR TO INFRASTRUCTURE PATCHING YOUR DRONE. THERE HAVE ALSO BEEN A HANDFUL OF REPORTS ABOUT AR.PRO REFUSING TO JOIN AN INFRASTRUCTURE NETWORK AUTOMATICALLY AFTER APPLYING THE PATCH. TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, MANUALLY CONNECT, OR USE AR.ASSIST, TO TEMPORARILY CONNECT TO YOUR DRONE, OPEN AR.PRO, CONNECT, GO INTO PREFERENCES, UNINSTALL THE PATCH, AND IMMEDIATELY RE-INSTALL IT (WIHOUT EXISTING PREFERENCES OR REBOOTING YOUR DRONE).
